He Obtained Bachelor of Law in 1994 and started working as a lawyer and legal consultant in one of the largest Egyptian law firms for three years. In 1998 he moved to work in the United Arab Emirates as a legal advisor in a leading law firm. In 2008 he contributed to the establishment of Arab Union Law Firm and Legal Consultancy.
Mahmoud is a lawyer before all courts in the Arab Republic of Egypt and a lawyer registered before the Egyptian Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative and Constitutional Courts.
With a legal experience for 28 years, including 25 years in the United Arab Emirate, he practiced legal research and writing notes in various types of cases, as he has extensive experience in civil and commercial cases, banking and insurance cases, contracting cases, commercial agencies, real estate cases, criminal cases and arbitration cases before all tribunals. He has also a great experience in drafting commercial contracts and Memorandums of Association of companies, and contracts for artistic production companies and distribution contracts – as well as an extensive experience in securities and stock trading issues and real estate financing disputes.
Mahmoud also has a great experience of more than 20 years in arbitration cases and disputes, whether local arbitration in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates or international commercial arbitration, subject to the jurisdiction of London Court- Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and arbitration disputes under the rules of UNCITRAL and the Hague Court subject to the United Nations. Additionally, he acted as a commercial arbitrator in more than (20) arbitration cases subject to the FIDIC law, commercial law and local contracting disputes, and his awards were approved before courts. He also possesses a high skill in negotiating and making amicable settlements and formulating them in a way that guarantees the rights of clients.
Mahmoud carried out many legal researches also, including:
-Documentary credits and the extent of responsibility of banks and customers in case of breach of obligations incurred by each party.
-Tenders and Auctions Law in the United Arab Emirates.
-Arbitration procedures in the United Arab Emirates and its invalidations.
